Our Projects

The Trust is engaged in envisioning or beginning work on a range of important projects. We appreciate your interest in this work and we welcome any support you may want to give us in this important ministry. Our projects include:

• Transferring audio and video files from old media to safe digital platforms and performing restoration work as necessary when possible

• Building a database of audio and video clips to enable access

• Restoring and preserving scrapbooks of family letters created by Nouwen

• Finding, organizing, and making accessible all of Nouwen’s sermons

• Acquiring first editions of all of Nouwen’s books

• Creating a list and getting copies of any missing publications of Nouwen’s (e.g., magazine and journal articles, interviews) in any language

• Organizing and translating Nouwen’s class notes and sermons that are missing or not in English

• Funding a full-time Nouwen expert to oversee acquisition activities and act as a resource for authors, scholars, and influencer communities, including the media
