True Peacemaking
If giving, and receiving the fruits of God’s intimate love for all people were our main concern, peace would be near. Little of this peace is visible in our world, but wherever and whenever people leave the house of fear and start to share their gifts in the house of love, true mission occurs, and true peacemaking begins.
“Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
