Hi everyone. I’m a newcomer to Henri’s writings and to this blog. Interestingly enough my pastor and I were discussing “judging” this morning. What I expressed this morning is that for me there is a subtle shift sometimes from frustration that others have not been awaken to or haven’t chosen some liberating truth for themselves, to judgment or criticism of them for choosing something less healthy. I wonder if somehow in embracing a “higher” idea we internalize it to the point that we think we are the higher idea (pride creeps in subtly).

I am a single mom, have 4 children and 1 granddaughter. I live in Haliburton, Ontario. My priest introduced me to Henri’s Lent book “Show Me the Way” approx. 8 years ago, and Henri has become my favourite writer. Henri’s heart speaks to my wounded heart.

Ed, Hi
Thanks for doing this.
My name is Phillip Gough (pronounced cough with a G).
I am happily married for 16 years now to my wife Julie and we have two daughters 12 and 14. We live in in the great city of Tupelo, MS. I own a furniture factory called Meadowbrook where we make living room sofas.
Henri is one of my favorite spiritual writers and this forum gives me an opportunity to share his gift that keeps on giving.
Peace!
