Nouwen Tops Clergy Reading List

The Christian Century magazine (August 23, 2003 issue) reported on survey results that show that, after the Bible, Catholic and mainline Protestant clergy read Henri Nouwen most often. The survey was commissioned in 2001 by Duke Divinity School's Pulpit & Pew project. 833 telephone surveys were completed as well as 2,500 mailed surveys.
