Nouwen's Influence Bears Fruit: The Steven and Carol Berry Fund

Friends of Steven and Carol Berry are developing "The Steven and Carol Berry Fund for Community and Culture" which honors the ministry of Steven and Carol who have spent their adult lifetime building community through an integration of the arts, humanities, and sciences as influenced through their association with Henri Nouwen. With a near term goal of $250,000 and a long-term goal of $1,500,000, this endowment will generate income to support numerous opportunities for social transformation through courses, seminars, film productions, artworks, and creative writing designed to help people make Jesus Christ's love visible in the world. This endowment will expand the mission of the Center for the Arts, Religion, and Education (an affiliated center of the Graduate Theological Union) to other places nationally and internationally.
