Nouwen’s Life Appreciated by Students - Peru

Edmundo Alarcon Caro, a Friend of the Henri Nouwen Society, led a retreat on August 30, 2002 in Lima, Peru. The retreat was based on Nouwen’s spirituality and was attended by 30 university students from all over the world. In an e-mail to Society President Wendy Greer, Edmundo wrote: “I’m sharing this with you so that you can know that here in Peru the spirituality of Henri Nouwen is being very well-received and appreciated.”
